FCC offers 1.5 million dollars to non-profit groups in rural Canada

 

Non-profit groups across rural Saskatchewan are eligible for new funding this year from Farm Credit Canada.

FCC is offering 1.5 million dollars for capital projects in rural Canada.

FCC manager of community investment, Carla Warnyca, says the deadline to apply is March 31st.

Rural non-profit groups can receive between 5 and 25 thousand dollars with the winning projects announced in August.

Project funding includes food banks, skating rinks and fire departments.
