Saskatchewan’s newest millionaire left winning ticket on table for a month

Saskatchewan has its newest millionaire.

Bradley Nyhus from Ceylon received a cheque for one million dollars from Saskatchewan Lotteries on Thursday thanks to a five dollar “SET FOR LIFE” scratch and win ticket.

Nyhus said that ticket had been sitting on his table for about a month before he finally got around to scratching it and that he didn’t realize he had won until he scanned it on the ticket checker. He thought it first it must be an error code when all the zeroes popped up on the machine.

Nyhus, who purchased the ticket at the Radville Co-Op, says he will look at retiring and that he will paying off the student loans that his three daughters have.
