Truck thieves use mace in armed robbery in Regina’s east end: RPS

Police in Regina are asking for information regarding two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery on Wednesday morning (Wed) in the city’s east end.

Officers were dispatched at 9:45 a.m. to a retail area on the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue East after a report of two men dressed in black with covered faces that walked in and pointed what is believed to be cans of mace at a customer and staff.

Employees managed to go into the back room and call for help. The suspects fled in a stolen truck from an incident on Tuesday.

Police describe the truck as a 2012 all-black Ford F-150 with black rims, tinted windows and a tonneau cover. The truck has the license plate MCMXIV.

Regina Police say if anyone locates the truck to not approach it, call 911 and give information to police.
