COVID-19 tests done on U of R students come back negative

The University of Regina has been told that tests for COVID-19 performed on two students have come back negative. The students have been self-isolating on campus.

There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the U of R.

The school says that they will continue to follow the advice laid out by the Saskatchewan Health Authority in their containment and contingency planning.

Administration is encouraging students, faculty, and staff to continue practicing good hygiene and social distancing in order to reduce the risk of infection.

The U of R is expected to give an update on the status of classes Saturday
