As efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 continue around the world, Canada has announced that its borders will be closed to most non-Canadian citizens.
Exempt from this is permanent residents, immediate family members of Canadian citizens, diplomats, air crews, and U.S. citizens.
Airports are also being instructed to prevent anyone who shows symptoms of COVID-19 from boarding planes.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians currently abroad will be supported through a federal program that will see them cover costs to get them home, or cover their basic needs while they are unable to return home.
All international travelers returning home are being asked to self isolate for 14 days, Saskatchewan has also announced on Monday that all schools grades K-12 will be suspended after Thursday.
