The CFL will not start the 2020 season until July 1 at the earliest.

Commissioner Randy Ambrosie has issued a statement saying that while they are postponing the season which was to have started with regular season games on June 11 until at least July 1.

Ambrosie says discussions are being had with teams, TSN and the players association to play a full season or as close to one as possible which will require some creativity.
