The president of Dot Technology east of Regina has sold the autonomous or robotic farm machinery to Raven Industries of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Norbert Beaujot says it’s an effort to simplify his business and give Raven more control over decision-making.

He adds the money was also good.

Beaujot adds his other company, SeedMaster, will continue to work with Raven on the autonomous farm equipment.

The robotic power unit is designed to replace the driver and tractor with various attachments for seeding, spraying and other field work.
