7 new cases of COVID19 confirmed; 12 more people recovered

The Government of Saskatchewan confirmed seven new COVID-19 cases in the province Thursday, bringing Saskatchewan’s total to 278.

Of the 278 cases, 160 are considered active cases, five less than Wednesday.

Twelve more people have recovered from the virus totalling 115.

There are currently eight people in hospitals across the province, including two in intensive care.

The province has performed 16.672 COVID-19 tests so far, including 1,051 tests conducted Wednesday, representing the single highest number of tests conducted in a single day so far.

Saskatchewan continues to have the second highest test rate in Canada.
