Mayor Michael Fougere is encouraging citizens to safely walk outside of their homes and participate in a cheer for frontline workers.

Friday has been declared as the Day of Cheer in Regina by Fougere with a city-wide event happening at 5.

The mayor said on a social media post that this is an opportunity for Reginans to give a big cheer for all the heroes working on the frontlines.
