Agriculture minister David Marit has awarded four scholarships to Saskatchewan students pursuing agriculture-related post-secondary education.

Marit says Mackenzie Van Damme of Imperial receives 4 thousand dollars as the 2020 grand prize scholarship winner.

Her submission focused on the importance of agriculture in the community and the evolution of her family’s grain farm and the unique opportunity to connect with consumers.

Marci Leblanc of Estevan, Isobel Kinash of Wishart and Makenzie Olson of Tisdale received scholarships of 2 thousand dollars each.
