More record-setting lows in Saskatchewan

It was another cold night across southern Saskatchewan with some records being set.

Environment Canada tells us Moose Jaw got down to minus 8.4 degrees breaking the old record for the coldest May 12th which was minus 7.2 in 2005.

Broadview and Rosetown saw the mercury get very close to minus 8 as well setting a new record.

Assiniboia, Watrous and Wynyard also broke the record for coldest May 12th.

The forecast is calling for temperatures to be above freezing over the next few nights with many wanting to get their gardens and yards ready hoping we have seen the last of below zero weather until the fall.
