The City of Regina ‘s year-round public dog parks are set to open Friday.

The Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Off- Leash Dog Park and the Ross Industrial Dog Park will be open while other seasonal dog parks will remain closed.

The City says there will be signage in place to remind people of the public health orders in effect including physical distancing and avoiding contact with shared surfaces like fences and benches.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, gates to the park will remain open.

City Ambassadors will be at the parks on May 15, 16 and 17 to guide users on the physical distancing requirements. Failure to follow these requirements may result in parks being closed.
