Eight new cases of COVID-19 in Sask with 10 new recoveries and nine in hospital including two in Regina

The provincial government is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan with all eight coming from the Far North ( 5 in La Loche, 3 in Beauval).

This brings the provincial total to 590.  176 of those cases are considered active.

Ten more people have recovered which brings the provincial total to 408.

Nine people remain hospitalized with three of those nine in Saskatoon and the other two in Regina.  The government notes that hospitalizations are attributed to the location of the hospitalization, and not the patient’s residence.  Three patients are in intensive care—all in Saskatoon.
