The Riders have signed Canadian linebacker Nakas Onyeka to a contract.

Onyeka, taken in the 5th round of the 2017 CFL draft by Toronto, had spent his entire CFL career with the Argos before heading West.

The Wilfrid Laurier product played in 36 games for the Argonauts, recording 14 tackles and two sacks on defence and 30 tackles on special teams.
