Regina Police looking for suspect after May long-weekend robbery

Regina Police are looking for a suspect after two youths were robbed of money and cell phones on Sunday morning.

In a news release sent out Tuesday afternoon police said the incident was believed to have happened on a basketball court on the 100 block of Argyle Street.

The suspect is alleged to have approached on a bicycle and then produced a large knife, when he demanded the victims hand over their possessions.

RPS say suspect is approximately 5’ 5” to 5’ 6” tall, he’s is described as wearing a black sweater or jacket and a red bandanna over his mouth.

He was also wearing blue jeans, green sneakers and a black hat.

No one was injured in the incident.
