A taser was used in the arrest of a Regina man on Friday.
Regina police responded to a domestic dispute call on the 800 block of Grey Street at around 7:22 p.m.
When police arrived, they found the suspect wielding a handgun. After the man refused to drop the gun, officers deployed the taser and successfully brought him into custody.
46-year-old Clifford James Mould of Regina was assessed by EMS on scene and was then taken to detention. The Regina Police Service says the incident will be reviewed by a committee within the organization.
Mould faces charges including pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm and uttering threats. He made his first court appearance on Monday morning.
