He doesn’t have the highest approval rating amongst the provincial premiers, but Scott Moe continues to get a solid “thumbs-up” from people in the province according to an Angus Reid poll.
In its latest survey, Moe’s approval rating sits at 65 percent which is an increase of seven percent from the last time the poll was taken in February.
At that time, Moe and Quebec’s Francois Legault were considered as the most popular Premiers, but he is now in the middle of the pack as he sits 5th.
Moe is now fifth in the country.
The most popular premier according to the poll is now New Brunswick’s Blaine Higgs who saw his rating rise 32 percent to 80 percent.
Higgs is overseeing a province with there is only one current active case of COVID-19 and 121 cases in total which has allowed their re-opening plan to be a little more aggressive than others.
