If you needed a tire repaired or replaced or got your vehicle’s oil changed at a Walmart, you will need a new place to do so come July 1

Walmart Canada announced Monday it will be permanently closing all auto service centres at 106 stores in Canada by the end of June affecting about 550 employees.

The company says it will be working to find those employees new roles at the stores where they currently work and that they will continue selling automotive products

The only Walmart in Regina that has a tire and lube centre is the one in the east end.
