A mother and her two children are dead after a house fire in North Battleford and foul play may be involved.

A sudden death investigation is underway.

RCMP say the dead are a 39-year old woman along with an 11-year-old boy and seven-year-old girl. Family members have been notified.

The Major Crimes unit is investigating with specialized investigators also being sent to help assist and determine whether or not the deaths are suspicious.
