Grenfell excited for construction of new long-term care home

There is some happiness in the town of Grenfell after the province announced a new long-term care home will be built which will replace one that had to close in 2018.
The 33-bed facility is something Mayor Rod Wolfe says is good for the entire community.
“You got your financial implications with jobs and everything,” said Wolfe. “But just the social well being of the home being in Grenfell, and the people that have lived in Grenfell their whole entire lives, to be able to continue living here when they need the special services.”
Wolfe says as tough as it was to see Grenfell lose its home in 2018, the dialogue and relationship they have had with the government has been positive so he knew this day was coming even if it was later than what he would have liked it to be.
