Southeast Saskatchewan could see storms develop Sunday

A stationary front is triggering scattered thunderstorms over southeastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba Sunday afternoon resulting in a severe thunderstorm watch being issued.

Environment Canada says thunderstorms are expected to redevelop across much of the watch area late Sunday afternoon and will persist well into the night.

The watch includes Estevan, Weyburn, Moosomin, Grenfell and Carlyle.
