Svozil spent last season with Brno Kometa HC, putting up five pints in 41 games, in 54 games total with the club he’s recorded four goals, 15 assists.
He also played for the Czech Republic at the 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Tournament and was a member of the Czech Under 17 team before that, recording six assists at the 2019 World Under 17 Championships.
“We are excited to get Stanislav where we did in the draft,” said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock in a news release. “He is a good young player and we hope to add him to our team for the upcoming season.”
With 19-year-old defenceman Nikita Sedov still on the team the Pats will not be able to make a second selection.
