Three recreation facilities in Regina scheduled to be open by July 17

If all goes well, the City of Regina is setting target dates for three of its recreation facilities to re-open.

In a release, the city says the North West Leisure Centre, including its strength and conditioning area, will open again on Wednesday.

The Lawson Aquatic Centre and its strength and conditioning area, will re-open on July 13 with the Regent Outdoor Pool starting up on July 17.

All three openings must be approved first by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

More information on facility use and safety protocols will be issued next week with the city saying “COVID-19 related adjustments” are being made to comply with provincial health orders.
