Active COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan starting to drop again

After reaching triple digits last month, the amount of active COVID-19 cases now sits at 71.

This comes as the province announces one new case of the virus on Friday and ten new recoveries.   That new case, which brings the provincial total to 796, comes from the Far North.

The ten new recoveries puts the provincial total at 711.

Four people are in hospital with three of those four listed as being in intensive care.

This will be the last update of the week from the province.  Earlier this week, they stated that updates would no longer be given on weekends and statutory holidays meaning a weekend update will be provided when Monday’s numbers are released.
