This was also accompanied by softball-sized hail.
The weather office has had severe thunderstorm watches and warnings out for a lot of the province since Saturday morning as a system from Montana comes into Saskatchewan producing strong wind, heavy rain and hail.
While unconfirmed by the weather office, there is also a belief that a tornado touched down near Gravelbourg
The forecast for Regina is calling for a good chance of showers and thundershowers on Saturday night with the risk of a severe thunderstorm as conditions are similar to what they were Friday when the Queen City was treated to a summer storm with rain, thunder and lightning as the temperatures hit a daytime high of 30 degrees.
There is no indication that storm-like conditions will occur on Sunday and it will be relatively cooler with a forecast high of just 24 degrees.
