Nine new cases on COVID-19 reported over weekend; 21 more recoveries

With the province no longer giving weekend updates on COVID-19, the numbers being released Monday show that there are nine new cases of the virus in Saskatchewan with two being reported Saturday, four on Sunday and three on Monday.

Three of the nine come from the Far North with two each in the Saskatoon area and the South region.  The single cases come from the Central and North region.  It brings the provincial total to 805.  The case in the Central region is the first one reported since May 9.

21 people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 732.  59 cases are considered active.

Four people are in hospital with one of those four in intensive care in Saskatoon.
