The Canadian Country Music Awards will be handed out September 27 and there could be a distinct Saskatchewan flavour to them this year as “The Hunter Brothers”, Tenille Arts and Jess Moskaluke have all been nominated,

The Hunter Brothers, who come from Shaunavon, are nominated in three categories including Video of the Year for Silver Lining.

Weyburn’s Tenille Arts is up for both the Rising Star Award and Album of the Year while Langenburg’s Jess Moskaluke is one of the nominees for Female Artist of the Year.

Kalsey Kulyk of Hudson Bay also picked up a nomination for Roots Album of the Year award.

Tenille Townes from Alberta leads the way with six nominations while Brett Kissel and Dean Brody each had 5.
