SMA calling for Saskatchewan people to do their part to stop COVID-19’s spread

The new president of the Saskatchewan Medical Association is speaking out on COVID-19 saying recent numbers show that we must once again do what we did when the pandemic started to prevent the economy from shutting down again.

Dr. Barb Konstantynowicz says on behalf of all doctors in the province, she is asking you to increase your defence against the virus meaning to stay home as much as possible, limit social interactions and avoid large gatherings while continuing to wash your hands frequently and to wear a mask if physical distancing is not possible.

Konstantynowicz says the day a vaccine is made available can’t come soon enough, but until then everything that can be done to reduce the spread needs to be done especially with flu season right around the corner.
