UPDATE – Regina police have concluded an operation which required the 4700 block of 4th Avenue to be closed on Thursday.

The stretch of road between Royal Street and Lewvan Drive is now reopened and the public can resume activities as per normal.

Motorists and pedestrians were asked to choose another route and residents in the area were advised to shelter in place while the operation was active.
