No public health risk being issued after number of employees at Regina linens business tests positive for COVID-19;

The province says a number of employees at the Regina location of K-Bro Linens has tested positive for COVID-19.

An investigation has started to determine transmission with part of that investigation being a microbiologist’s assessment of the processes for the linen to make sure they are still safe for use in health care facilities. That review says there is no safety concern for processed linen and that all employees were wearing PPE while at work.

The investigation has determined that at this time, there is no public health risk and that if that changes, an announcenent will be made.
