Tornado warnings were out as were severe thunderstorm warnings, but Regina appeared to escape heavy rain and hail on Wednesday night.

While Regina got some rain, there was no hail unlike Pense and Grand Coulee where nickel-sized hail was reported with heavy rain coming down in Lumsden.

As of 8 o’clock Wednesday night, severe thunderstorm watches were out in many parts of eastern Saskatchewan with some severe thunderstorm warnings expected in the Weyburn and Estevan area.
