Regina police have arrested a 27-year-old man after he was driving dangerously on Tuesday in the city.
Police saw the suspicious vehicle at around 11:20 a.m. going at a high rate of speed near Dewdney Avenue and Queen Street. Officers were unable to perform a vehicle stop at the time and the vehicle sped away.
A spike belt was used on the vehicle at around 6th Avenue and Park Street. When the vehicle was stopped, two men fled on foot and were eventually arrested by police.
The driver, 27-year-old Chase Gauge McKay, faces multiple charges including flight from peace officer and operating a conveyance dangerous to the public.
He was in court on these charges Wednesday morning.
