The Canadian Farmers Almanac is warning Saskatchewan residents to be ready for a stormy winter.

Almanac managing editor Sandi Duncan says the temperature will be about normal this winter in Saskatchewan.

But she says there will be more unsettled, stormy weather than usual.

Duncan is forecasting near ideal weather for fall harvest with a wet spring and summer.
