Regina Police determine Cameron Street death a homicide

The death of a man in north central Regina that occurred Monday night has now been deemed a homicide.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Cameron Street for a report of a weapons offence and injured person. EMS deemed the victim deceased at the scene.

Police have identified the victim as 32 year-old Mathew Bossenberry. His next-of-kin have been notified.

Police have also arrested 39 year-old Ryan Chevrier of Regina, and charged him with second degree murder.

Chevrier appeared in court Wednesday morning. This is Regina’s 10th homicide of 2020.
