Severe thunderstorm watches issued for southern Sask.

Environment Canada has issued severe thunderstorm watches and warnings for southwest Saskatchewan.

Humboldt, Outlook, Swift Current and their surrounding areas were under warnings, but they have since been lifted. Regina, Moose Jaw, Maple Creek, and Fort Qu’Appelle are also under watches.

The agency says that as these thunderstorms move east they may become severe with wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h and quarter-sized hail.
