Regent Outdoor Pool and 15 spray pads will continue to stay open as residents hope to enjoy what’s left of summer 2020.

The city said in a release on Friday that Regent Outdoor Pool is tentatively scheduled to close on September 13, while spray pads will close on September 20.

Regent Outdoor Pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. Spray pad hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. The city intends to continue with these operating times as long as the weather cooperates and “there is sufficient uptake from residents.”

“Standard practice for Regina is to close outdoor pools, with the exception of Wascana Pool, around Labour Day and spray pads mid-September,” said Mayor Michael Fougere. “We have heard from residents and we are going to keep these open as long as we can.”
