Big news for the city of Weyburn on Friday as Details on a new hospital  were announced Friday morning.

The 35-bed facility, which will include a 10-bed inpatient mental health unit, will be situated in the city’s north end.

The hospital will create an integrated model of care and bring together services which are currently situated in different locations across the city. It is a hospital that the government says will bring tremendous benefits to those in the southeast part of the province.

If all goes well, construction should be completed by late 2023.
