Four people arrested after drug investigation

Four people are facing charges as the result of an ongoing investigation by Regina Police.

On Friday, at approximately 11:30 am, members of the RPS’ Street Gang Unit executed a search warrant at a house on the 1200 block of Athol Street. Four people from the residence were taken into custody.

During the search, investigators seized what is believed to be fentanyl, a quantity of methamphetamine, multiple cartons of illegal cigarettes, numerous cell phones, cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia, multiple weapons and a taser.

45-year-old Scott Brent Berge, and 49-year-old Danika Kaeser-Bernard have each been charged with 5 counts of careless storage of a firearm, 5 counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, 4 counts of unauthorized possession a firearm, 4 counts of possession of a weapon obtained by commission of offence, 2 counts of possession of a prohibited firearm with ammo, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, and possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.

Berge is also facing charges of breach of probation, and breach of undertaking. Kaeser-Bernard is also facing a breach of undertaking.

26-year-old Spencer Bernard and 18-year-old Anika Brigit Dawn Burns have beenc charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, and selling of raw leaf tobacco.

Berge, Kaeser-Bernard, Burns and Bernard will all make their first court appearances on Tuesday
