Indigenous Business Directory hoping to connect businesses around the province

In an effort to establish what it calls “deeper relationships”, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce unveiled an indigenous business directory this week.

The Chamber’s Nick Crighton is responsible for the directory. Crighton, who is the chamber’s indigenous engagement director, says connection is the key word.

“Non indigenous-businesses can now connect with indigenous-owned business across the province.” Crighton said. “It will be a great opportunity to connect and establish partnerships, and be a win-win for not just indigenous-owned business, but Saskatchewan as a whole.

There are close to 500 businesses in the directory.
