Ten new COVID-19 cases in Sask.; four more recoveries

Saskatchewan is posting ten new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday, September 16.

Seven of the new cases are in Saskatoon, while one is in each of the North East and Regina zones. The tenth case is pending its location.

Officials say 21 cases are now linked to the social gathering that happened on September 13 in Saskatoon. More cases are expected to be identified as public health continues contact tracing.

There are now 1,751 reported cases in the province. 32 of the 107 active cases have been found in communal living settings.

Four more recoveries on Wednesday means the provincial recovery count jumps to 1,620. Four people are receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon.
