Sunday is the last day you can buy a “Smile Cookie” at a Tim Horton’s location in Regina and area.

This year, United Way Regina, Family Services Regina and the Regina branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association are the beneficiaries of the promotion that sees the cookie being sold for $1 each.

Going into the last day, it would seem as if there are a lot of cookie monsters in the city as many of the treats have been sold.

The United Way says as of the end of the day on Thursday, 20,000 cookies had been purchased.

In 2019, the Smile Cookie campaign raised a record $9.8 million across Canada
