“A Night with STARS” raises over $100,000

Saturday’s “A Night with STARS” concerts were a huge success, according to the organization.

The two- concert event featuring country music stars Aaron Pritchett and George Canyon raised over $105,000 in support of STARS Air Ambulance.

Manager of Events and Community Engagement, Kim Kroll-Goodwin says it was nice to see the community come out and support STARS despite the pandemic.

“We’re super thrilled with the support of the whole community, and to be able to be sort of in-person” said Kroll-Goodwin. “And be able to put on a show for our supporters. We’re just super thrilled with the outcome.”

Kroll-Goodwin says all of the money raised will stay right here in Saskatchewan.

“It’s for Saskatchewan operations, we do have to raise $10.5 million every year to keep STARS in the sky,” said Kroll-Goodwin. “Those dollars raised will go directly to supporting STARS operations in Saskatchewan.”

Anyone wishing to donate to STARS Air Ambulance can do so on their website.
