FCC Drive Away Hunger Campaign to be held Thursday in Regina

The Farm Credit Canada Drive Away Hunger campaign goes Thursday October 8th in Regina.

The manager of community investment at FCC, Carla Warnyca says the campaign follows a different concept this year because of covid-19.

Other years saw a small tractor drive to various locations around the city to pick up donations and deliver them to the food bank.

This year, she says partner organizations and FCC employees will be dropping off mostly cash donations at the temporary drive-through set up at the Regina Food Bank parking lot on Winnipeg Street.

The drive through will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and FCC will have its drive away hunger tractor in the line-up of vehicles.

Warnyca says similar drive away hunger events will be held across Canada with a goal of 10 million meals for the hungry.
