Angus Reid poll shows distinct advantage for Saskatchewan Party

A new poll done by the Angus Reid Institute is echoing what many other polls have said and that is that the Saskatchewan Party is heading to another majority government.

The poll, which was conducted October 8-13 and involved 759 people from across the province, shows 60 percent will cast their vote to the Saskatchewan Party on October 26 with 33 percent voting for the NDP and seven percent selecting another party.

While Scott Moe holds a decided advantage over Ryan Meili on personal appeal amongst those asked, the Saskatchewan Party does not fare well in key issues like healthcare and COVID-19 as more people feel the NDP is the best to lead on both issues.

Saskatchewan people elect a new government in the provincial election on Monday, October 26.
