Regina Police make arrest in drug trafficking investigation in city’s east end

A Regina man is facing charges in connection to a drug trafficking investigation being conducted by the Regina Police Service.

On Wednesday, police pulled a vehicle over in the Greens on Gardner and Whitmore Park areas of Regina, resulting in a drugs and substances search of the vehicle in question.

Several items were seized, including 500 grams of cocaine, bear spray, and six thousand dollars cash.

As a result, 24 year-old Gage Finch faces three charges:

· Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine

· Proceeds over $5000

· Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace (bear spray)

Finch appears in court on Nov. 26.
