Regina Police report 19 collisions after first significant snowfall of season

With the first significant snowfall of the season arriving on Tuesday, it’s no surprise that 19 collisions were reported across Regina by police.

RPS say only two of those collisions involved injuries while the remaining 17 were limited to vehicle and property damage.

Tuesday morning’s commute saw many streets covered with a thin layer of snow and ice, with underpasses being noted as a significant problem area.

RPS say in comparison, only two collisions were reported on Monday before the snow arrived.
