A software program which monitors remote exams for U of R students is going to be put back in service

A security breach with ProctorTrack last week resulted in the system being shut down

An e-mail sent to students says no user data was exposed in the security breach and that services will resume on Thursday.

The e-mail adds the provider has further assured its clients that the vulnerability that led to the breach – which prompted the temporary shutdown of services – has been fully addressed and that its security measures have been updated.
