Regina-based Viterra has announced construction of a multi-million dollar grain elevator at Biggar, about 350 kilometers northwest of Regina.
The terminal will have a facility of 34,000 metric tons and will be equipped with a loop track for rail loading.
President Kyle Jeworski says Viterra is revitalizing its presence in the Biggar area with the significant investment.
The new facility will be about three times bigger than the existing elevator.
Construction on the new facility will begin this fall and is slated for completion in early 2022.
