3 Saskatchewan-born players invited to Canada’s World Junior camp

46 players have been invited to the Team Canada World Junior Team selection camp.

15 of the 48 are from the WHL with three of them from Saskatchewan.

Saskatoon’s Connor Zary (pictured), who is a member of the Kamloops Blazers, has been named as has Yorkton defenceman Kaeden Korczak (Kelowna) and Prince Albert’s Braden Schneider (Brandon).

Zary and Schneider were first round picks in the 2020 NHL draft going to Calgary and the New York Rangers respectively while Korczak went in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft to the Vegas Golden Knights.

Other players invited with a Saskatchewan tie are Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Kaiden Guhle and Moose Jaw Warriors blueliner Daemon Hunt.
