Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital looking for your support at 2020 Radiothon

The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation radiothon, presented by CIBC Wood Gundy, began Wednesday morning on 620 CKRM. We are asking for your help from now until 5 PM Thursday to raise money in this virtual event for opening the very first pediatric hemodialysis unit for kids in Saskatchewan.

Hospital Foundation CEO Brynn Boback-Lane says the next two days will be different because of COVID-19, but the objective stays the same in what is a very important two days.

“With COVID-19, the importance of this radiothon is unprecedented.” Lane said. “We could not hold third-party fundraisers or other events over the last eight months that had to be cancelled because of the pandemic. We are so grateful for any and all donations that come from the public and the corporate sector.  They are all very meaningful and impactful. The importance of raising dollars in a time of COVID-19 is even more important now and with the help of Saskatchewan people we are confident we will be able to provide sick children with the care they need.”

Call 1-888-808-KIDS to donate.
